Role Description

 

This is a contract role for an Owner’s Team Project Manager, located on-site near Cripple Creek, CO. The role duration is anticipated to be 10-12 months, with the possibility of extension and conversion to FTE with TMG.  Day-to-day this position will report to the client’s Projects Director.  The Project Manager will oversee the day-to-day management and execution of a demolition contractor executing a significant industrial demolition project at the client site.  Responsibilities include overall project safety, reporting, planning, coordinating, and oversight of demolition activities, managing schedule and budget, preparing submittals, and ensuring project milestones, standards, and deadlines are met. The role requires extensive collaboration with the contractor(s), suppliers, and internal teams to ensure project success and quality standards.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum 15 years of Heavy/Industrial Project Manager experience
  • Proficiency in project management methods, standards, and controls
  • Strong Project Management skills including planning, execution, and oversight
  • Experience with budgeting and managing project finances and schedule
  • Ability to prepare, review, and manage Submittals
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work on-site near Cripple Creek, CO
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Experience with industrial/heavy demolition projects is a plus
  • This is a contracted position
