Overview:
Supports the shutdown project by ensuring all activities follow safety standards, reducing risks, and maintaining compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct daily safety inspections and monitor high-risk tasks (confined space, hot work, working at heights, lifting, LOTO).
Enforce the permit-to-work (PTW) system and stop unsafe work when required.
Review JSAs, risk assessments, and work permits before job execution.
Lead toolbox talks, safety briefings, and provide on-site safety coaching.
Report unsafe conditions, investigate incidents/near misses, and track corrective actions.
Support emergency preparedness and participate in drills.
Maintain daily safety records and submit shutdown HSE reports.
Qualifications:
Safety certificatio OSHA 30, 500 and 510
3+ years experience in industrial shutdowns/turnarounds.
Strong knowledge of PTW, LOTO, confined space, and hot work requirements.
Good communication and leadership skill
